Center Design
Goal:
Develop an alternate command and control
capability that can be activated after a disaster to sustain the critical
functions of your enterprise.
Deliverables:

Through an interactive session with key managers,
determine EOC members, roles, and responsibilities.

Create and document activity checklists for
each EOC team through discussions with team leaders.

Determine EOC primary and alternate locations.
-
Determine space, supplies, and equipment needed
at the EOC.

Determine EOC activation criteria and call-out
procedures.
-
Document all of the above in the EOC Action
Plan, also including other resource information such as maps, facility
information, transportation routes, and contact telephone numbers.

Conduct a training session to orient all EOC
members on their roles when the EOC is activated.

Develop and facilitate the first EOC tabletop
exercise to test the members’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities.

Create an issues/action list of EOC enhancements
based on the tabletop exercise.
