The following mock disasters are currently scheduled:
In each simulation, participants assume the roles of the employees and clients of The Daily Express, a regional newspaper. There are roles for members of the EOC, company executives, department managers, concerned overseers at the parent company in Chicago, and some of the newspaper’s major advertisers. From their disbursed locations, they face the communications problems that the disaster has caused, and, at the end of the session, they are asked to recommend changes to the plan that will make the communications more effective. Reserve your seat now! Your organization can sponsor a mock disaster to be attended by 60-80 people in your area. The session will illustrate important preparedness concepts by challenging participants to make critical recovery decisions during a simulated disaster.
